Career Services
I offer consulting to mid-life, mid-career professionals. My services
are
designed to facilitate changing careers, searching for a new job,
mastering challenges of your current career (such as performance
reviews and politics), starting a new business, and evaluating
trade-offs of a career-related or business-related decision. I have special expertise and experience in relocation and academic career challenges, including pursuing an academic career and returning to school for career advancement.
Work with me in any of these 3 ways.Email to get
started.

"Thank
you so much for your guidance and
support. Throughout the past 2 months you also helped keep my
motivation and energy high.
"It has been an enriching and broadening
experience to work with you. The most important lesson came right at
the beginning when I trusted my instincts in engaging your services
right after our get-acquainted call."
Rochelle Cohn, IT Manager, Boston Area |
"Our
2
one-hour calls got me moving - which I very much needed to do but
hadn't gotten started. I also got some good strategies for taking the
next
steps." - Lois Lorenz, Phoenix, AZ

Bonus
Value:
Within 1-2 business days after each call, you receive a detailed
follow-up
email, summarizing key points we discussed, suggestions for future work
and any additional thoughts. Most clients find these summaries
extremely valuable, as they do not have to take notes and can review
our work together anytime between calls.
And with each call you choose a free
full-sized ebook (click here to
see the list) that can extend the
value of our calls, giving you more information and guidance than we'd
have time to
discuss on the phone.
Ready to act now?
To
begin, send an
email
that answers as many of these
questions as possible. Email: midlifecareerstrategy (at) gmail.com
Tell me about your interest in
working with me on your career, relocation and/or business challenges.
(a) What is your current situation?
(b) What would you like to change?
(c) What goal(s) would you like to achieve? ("Setting goals" can be a
goal.)
(d) What have you done so far to make changes and/or reach goals?
(e) What role would I play in helping you reach your goals?
(f) How will your life will be different after you reach your
goals?
(g) What will happen if you make no changes?
(h) If we agree that I am the right resource for you at this time, when
would you want to begin working together?
(i) Will fees for consulting put a strain on your budget? If so, I
recommend postponing our work together. Financial stress can create a
scarcity framework that prevents progress. We've all been there: when
you're ready to begin, I'll still be here for you.
Note that I do not offer therapy or medical guidance that belongs to
the realm of licensed professionals. If you're working with a therapist
or counselor, please discuss your interest in hiring a career
consultant before
you call me. If you experience grief, anxiety or depression, you may
not be ready to embark on a new career or business path.
If your
situation seems to fall within my scope, we will set up a Renovation
Plan Power Hour
consultation.
